Introducing the latest ground-breaking production from Satore Studio and Tupac Martir – UNIQUE.
Based on the premise of self reflection and identity. Tupac Martir invites the audience into a journey of introspection to learn more about their fundamental nature and essence, through his novel based on 12 branching chapters, where there is always a beginning and an end, but through the choices made in between have an impact on the emotional interpretation.
Martir’s vision for UNIQUE is to bring Greek Mythology to the 21st century, fusing different art forms to bring this piece to life in a modern and impactful way, whilst still respecting the traditional medium – by using the heritage of the proscenium theatre incorporating new innovations of XR Technology.
UNIQUE presents itself as a new performance tradition – Performative-R with the integration of live music, improvisation, dance, set design, AR, VR and projection performance into an emotional journey into one’s own existence. The pioneering production will be brought to life, and shared with a multi-layered voyage, whereby 3 distinctive types of audiences are able to co-exist and experience this art form from 3 different perspectives.
UNIQUE is led by a conductor which sculpts the performance of live musicians, dancers, and real-time graphics into one cohesive piece that combines the vitality of live spontaneity distinction of crafted narrative. With 3.2 million possible variations, no performance is repeated, and no experience is ever the same. Every performance is ‘Unique’.
Last month the team went to Centre Stage Studios to perform and experiment using 3 of the 12 chapters in order to create a prototype of UNIQUE.
