PROJECT: THESE NEW PURITANS

ROLE: Lighting Design & Visuals  

Satore Studio’s challenge was to create a cinematic lightscape for These New Puritan’s sister release to ‘Inside the Rose’ at the Barbican Main Hall. Satore provided production design of moments of both brutal lighting explosions or stillness and beautiful imagery of human figures and nature projected onto the screens on stage.

The project included the creation of real time content using technologies such as Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, Disguse and Kinect Azure cameras which contributed to the poetic, yet electrical sounds which were blurring the line between orchestra and band.
